The Objective

A foundation for lifelong learning & wellbeing

Our programme provides a foundation for lifelong learning and wellbeing.  It focusses on essential and transferrable, work, economic, social and life skills which will enable increased independence and self-determination.

The Pathway to Independence and Employability is successful when it leads to positive, sustained outcomes for all learners. Impact is demonstrated by the extent to which sustained achievement and progress is demonstrated. By the time learners come to leave this pathway, it is expected that all will have made consistent and extensive progress from their starting points and have achieved their ambitious individual goals. Learners will have gained the necessary independence and fluency within their everyday lives meaning they have securely developed a thorough understanding of new concepts and can apply their academic, technical, and vocational knowledge, skills, and behaviours expertly and fluently across all life skill domains.
